Windows 10 Infinity Boot Loop – a Fix

If you are running Windows 10 on your PC or laptop, you might face the infinite boot loop issue. On account of this, your PC keeps restarting countless times and fails to get into the log-in screen automatically.

Like any other earlier version of Windows, Windows 10 has the chance of getting such a problem, but chances are lesser. However, the problem occurs due to faulted Windows registry files which prevent the PC from starting usually. The reasons those do not let your Windows 10 work normally and create infinite Windows start-up boot loop issue are mentioned below.

Possible Solutions to Fix Infinite Boot Loop in Windows 10

1] Incomplete Windows update can result in boot loop in Windows 10. A system restore possibly helps you to bypass the problem. Take help of system restore disk instead. Stop the downloading of automatic Windows updates if possible.

2] Incompatible device driver sometimes does not let your PC starts usually, and prevents the Windows 10 PC from starting up. Forceful installation of the not digitally signed driver might create the problem too. This might cause an infinite boot loop. You need to uninstall that driver carefully to get rid of such an issue. As the boot loop fails to start Windows, starting the Windows OS in safe mode might be the solution in that case.

3] Installation of a few unnecessary Windows applications and games may create significant problems. If the problem occurs due to this, removal of the app let you overcome the issue. Manually entering into the safe mode makes the application or game removal possible for you. Alternatively, you can take the help of Windows PowerShell to uninstall all applications at once.

Use of the Safe mode with command prompt is very much acceptable to disable or uninstall all drivers and the latest Windows updates. Use the below-mentioned commands only after getting into Windows Safe mode.

  • net stop wuauserv
  • net stop bits
  • Browse for the following directory C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and delete entire directory contents.

4] Malicious virus or malware can tamper the Windows registry files that result in start-up boot loop issue. Identification of those programs and the removal of those items are necessary to solve the issue. Must use a trusted antivirus to avoid such unwanted Windows related problem.

Shut down your PC and restart it to normal mode. Hopefully, by doing so, you may get the infinite boot loop problem bypasses from your Windows 10 computer successfully.

If none of the above-mentioned solution work for you to help you resolve the issue, you may require a Windows installation media or Windows 10 resetting disk to reset your PC completely.
